App or feature

Hi, thank you for the resources you provided over email to get start with this competition. Before I start to develop I have a question. Is it necessary to build a complete app or we are allowed to make a feature. Take a basic example, we are creating a feature where we can read and send email with Nylas and also giving translation of email in their language. Is feature allowed or complete web app needed?

    Hello Prathmesh,

    Good question. From the rules we have:

    "Entrants must programmatically integrate Nylas and an AI technology at the API level in their submission. This integration should enhance Nylas’ email, calendar, or scheduling features with AI capabilities. "

    So as long as you use both Nylas and AI, it doesn't need to be a complete web app. Also, it can be a mobile or desktop application.

    I got an email notification, but cannot find your message here. Anyways, to answer your question. You don't need to host anywhere. You can run it locally, shoot a video and then provide the source code so the judges can test it locally as well. We don't want you to incur in additional costs, that's for sure.
